On the other hand, prices rose faster for food, alcohol, and tobacco inflation (2.8 percent vs 2.6 percent). Meanwhile, energy prices decreased at a slower pace (-0.6 percent vs -1.8 percent). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.4 percent in April.
